Bordeaux Tasting

 

"Bordeaux Tasting" gathered this weekend talents from the left bank and right bank in the magnificent Palais de la Bourse in Bordeaux.

This event was organised by the famous “Terre de Vins” Magazine the 15th & 16th of December. The aim of this event is to expose 100 Chateaux that represent the excellence and the diversity of Bordeaux’s Terroir.

There were two offers to participate in this event :
With the first offer (25 euros) you could access Bordeaux Tasting on Saturday 15th or Sunday 16th + 1 Riedel glass offered + a subscription to the magazine Terre de Vins.
With the second offer (15 euros) you could access Bordeaux Tasting on 15th or 16th + 1 Riedel glass offered

 All the major names on the left bank, Médoc, Pauillac, Saint-Julien, Margaux, Saint-Estephe, Graves, Pessac-Leognan, Sauternes, etc. And the right bank, Saint-Emilion, Pomerol, Lalande-de-Pomerol were represented ...



Beychevelle; Cantemerle; Cos d’Estournel; Giscours; Gruaud-Larose; Lafon-Rochet; Lagrange; Léoville-Barton; Lynch-Bages; Prieuré-Lichine; Rauzan-Segla




It was an amazing present before Christmas because numerous Grand Crus Classés were attended to offer tasting and answer questions from visitors.







Prestigious Master Class were organised:

  1. Special Château d'Yquem (150 euros)
  2. "Vintage 1982, Myth of thirty years" (120 euros)
  3. The importance of glass in the tasting with Riedel (45 euros)
  4. Special Château Angelus (150 euros)
  5. 2009 marked 100/100 by Parker! Cos d'Estournel, Smith Haut Lafitte, Pape Clement (white) and La Mondotte (Saint-Emilion): 120 euros
All these prestigious master Class were limited about 20 people...




Big surprise: Fifteen champagnes were represented !!!



And obviously a member of our team: Clément Chepy attended this fabulous event this weekend...
